The aim of the James Ackerman Award is the annual publication of an original study in the field of architectural history.

 

All periods are eligible within the field of architectural history.

 

Each year, the work selected by a Jury guided by James S. Ackerman, is published by the CISA ‚Andrea Palladio‘ in a special series.

 

There are no restrictions as to the nationality of the author, on condition that he/she has not published a book yet.
