Robert Häusser fotografierte die Berliner Mauer im Jahr 1983. Es entstanden eindringliche Bilder, welche die Mauer als Ausdruck und Brutalität des Systems zeigen. Die Ausstellung zeigt 24 großformatige Schwarz-Weiß-Bilder, mit Zitaten bekannter Politiker und Künstler (u.a. von John F. Kennedy, Willy Brandt, Ronald Reagan Franz Josef Strauß, Martin Luther King und Mstislaw Rostropowitsch). Bild und Zitat geben zugleich ein historisches Zeugnis und werden zum Mahnmal für die Teilung Deutschlands bis zu ihrer Wiedervereinigung 1989.
Anlässlich der Ausstellung erscheint ein Katalog mit den ausgestellten Bildern, Zitaten und Beiträgen (u.a. von Claude W. Sui (Kurator) und Günter Kunert (Schriftsteller und DDR-Dissident)).
